MIDDLEBURY — Middlebury police cited a juvenile Middlebury Union High School student for unlawful mischief on campus June 15. School officials allege the 14-year-old student punched a hole in the drywall in the E-wing corridor of MUHS.

Police said they confirmed the incident through security camera footage.

In other action last week, Middlebury police:

•  Served court diversion paperwork on a minor who was allegedly in possession of alcohol at a Court Street Extension home on June 11.

•  Received a report about a Munson Road man experiencing some mental health issues on June 11. Police said a counselor intervened prior to their arrival.

•  Responded to a trespassing complaint in the Monarch Court area on June 12.

•  Responded to a motor vehicle crash, with minor injuries, on Upper Plains Road on June 12.

•  Helped search for a missing person in the Old Pasture Lane area on June 12.

•  Responded to a reported family dispute at a Seymour Street residence on June 12.

•  Served a Final Abuse Order on a woman in the Elm Street area on June 12.

•  Investigated an unlawful mischief complaint in the Foster Circle neighborhood on June 12.

•  Turned over to a friend a woman that police described as “highly intoxicated” at Two Brothers Tavern on June 13.

•  Took into protective custody a drunken woman who had allegedly been screaming on the Evergreen Lane area on June 13.

•  Warned a person who had been setting off fireworks in the Peterson Terrace area on June 13.

•  Provided traffic control as Green Mountain Power crews cleared a tree that had downed some wires on Route 7 North on June 13.

•  Responded to a report of a drunken driver in the North Pleasant Street area on June 14. Police said the driver was not intoxicated.

•  Arrested Matthew Billings, 34, of Middlebury on an active warrant, following an investigation off Macintyre Lane on June 14. Police said Billings was lodged at the Marble Valley Regional Correctional Facility.

•  Responded to a report of an injured deer on Route 7 near Middlebury Beef Supply on June 14.

•  Probed a suspected theft from a Lindale Circle home on June 15.

•  Received a report that a middle school-age juvenile had allegedly sent some sexually explicit photos (electronically) to another juvenile. Police are investigating the incident.

•  Served a temporary restraining order on a man in the Elm Street area on June 15.

•  Removed a wire that was obstructing traffic on Lower Plains Road on June 15.

•  Were informed someone had stolen an unspecified amount of cash from a vehicle parked off Court Street on June 15.

•  Investigated an attempted theft from the Seminary Street area on June 16.

•  Helped Middlebury Regional EMS officials with a patient in the Exchange Street area on June 16.

•  Assisted Middlebury Regional EMS with a drunken woman who had fallen and injured herself on Water Street on June 16.

•  Cited Michael Cordoba, 26, of Middlebury for driving under the influence following a traffic stop at the intersection of Munger Street and Painter Road on June 17. Police said the Cordoba declined to submit to a breath test.

•  Searched a North Pleasant Street apartment on June 17 at the request of a tenant who was concerned there might be an unwanted man inside. Police said they searched the home and found no intruder.

•  Received a complain about a black Ford Mustang doing “doughnuts” in the MUHS parking lot on June 18.

•  Responded to an crash, with minor injuries, in the Case Street area on June 18.

•  Dispelled the notion of an alleged death investigation raised in a letter that had been sent to the Committee on Temporary Shelter (COTS) in Burlington on June 18. The letter to COTS falsely stated that Middlebury police were looking for a man named “Tom” for questioning relating to the deaths of three people in May 2016. Middlebury Police Chief Tom Hanley said his department is not investigating any such incident, nor are they seeking a person named “Tom.”

•  Assisted Vermont State Police with a drunken man on River Road in New Haven on June 19.
