MEDFORD, Mass. — The Middlebury College women’s volleyball team saw its season come to and end with a 3-2 (25-19, 21-25, 17-25, 25-21, 15-13) loss to Amherst in the NESCAC playoff quarterfinals at Tufts on Nov. 6. The Panthers finished the season with a 20-6 record.
Amherst controlled the first set, taking a lead that grew to 20-10. Middlebury fought back to 21-16, but Amherst finished off a 25-19 victory.
