MIDDLEBURY — Middlebury police say that 18-year-old Deven Corse-Terrier of Middlebury spray-painted a wall and piano at the Addison Central Teens center in the lower level of the Middlebury municipal building on April 2.

Authorities cited Corse-Terrier for unlawful trespass and unlawful mischief.

In other action last week, Middlebury police:

•  Responded to a report of a man urinating in front of a South Village Green business on March 30.

•  Assisted Middlebury Regional EMS with a man believed to have suffered a seizure on Main Street on March 31.

•  Assisted with traffic control for a tractor-trailer unit that had sustained a flat tire on North Pleasant Street on March 31.

•  Helped a local woman who received some unwanted phone calls from a Florida man on March 31.

•  Received a report on March 31 about a Middlebury College student being harassed, through electronic means, by someone overseas.

•  Responded to a report of a vehicle operating unsafely on Route 7 North on March 31.

•  Investigated a report of a Middlebury Union High School student becoming disruptive on March 31.

•  Warned a local mother and daughter on April 1 to stop harassing each other through text messages.

•  Responded on April 1 to the Twin Circles neighborhood amid reports of a suicidal woman who had allegedly consumed alcohol and pills. Middlebury Regional EMS took the woman to Porter Hospital.

•  Responded to a reported three-vehicle accident, with minor injuries, on Court Street on April 1.

•  Investigated a dispute involving some MUHS students on April 1.

•  Received a report that a Seymour Street home was being egged on April 1.

•  Warned a man seen carrying an open container of alcohol on Main Street on April 2.

•  Calmed a dispute between some Jackson Lane neighbors on April 2.

•  Responded to a car-deer collision on Quarry Road on April 2.

•  Responded to a two-car accident on Court Street on April 2.

•  Received a report on April 2 of the alleged theft of some prescription drugs from an East Main Street residence.

•  Cited Floyd C. Smith, 52, of Salisbury for a criminal count of driving with a suspended license.

•  Responded, with local medical officials, to a report of an unresponsive student in a Middlebury College dormitory on April 2. Police said EMTs were unable to revive Nathan Alexander, 20, of Colorado, and he was pronounced dead. A medical examiner investigated the death on-site, and Alexander’s body was transferred to the Office of the Medical Examiner. Middlebury police are investigating the death, and they said there was no sign of foul play or of third-party involvement in the death. Cause and manner of death are pending examination by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.

•  Responded to noise complaints in the Court Street and Shannon Street neighborhoods on April 3. Police pointed to a college party as the source of the noise on Shannon Street.

•  On April 3 were flagged down by a driver on Court Street Extension who had a passenger with a medical emergency. Middlebury Regional EMS responded and took the patient to Porter Hospital.

•  Warned a Gorham Lane resident on April 3 to keep his barking dogs quiet.

•  Received a report about dogs running loose on a Butternut Ridge resident’s property on April 3.

•  Assisted Middlebury Regional EMS in dealing with an emergency call at a Twin Circles residence on April 3.

•  Intervened in a dispute among some Seminary Street residents about some designated parking spots on April 3.

•  Spoke with man seen pushing shopping carts on Route 7 South on April 3.

•  Responded to a report of an out-of-control teen in the Quarry Road neighborhood on April 4. Police connected the youth with counseling help at Porter Hospital.

•  Received a report about a potential shoplifter at Hannaford Supermarket in The Centre shopping plaza on April 4. Police said the matter remains under investigation.

•  Cited Terence Morris, 58, of Middlebury for retail theft following an incident at Hannaford Supermarket on April 4.

•  Assisted the Vermont State Police in dealing with a case of a person driving with a suspended license on Route 125 East on April 4.

•  Were informed on April 4 of damage caused to the siding of a garage on Court Street caused by youths hitting hockey pucks.

•  Assisted Middlebury College Public Safety with an intoxicated man in the Adirondack View area on April 4. Police ultimately took the man to Rutland for detox services.

•  Warned a man for carrying an open container of beer in the Adirondack View neighborhood on April 5.
