MIDDLEBURY — Middlebury police responded to a report of an unresponsive man on the town green in downtown Middlebury on Jan. 13. Police found 45-year-old Suad Teocanin deceased at the scene.

Police said they believed alcohol played a role to his succumbing to the cold, wet weather that evening.
