The town of Middlebury is alerting us that with sidewalk construction set to begin at the south end of South Pleasant Street today, Monday, Aug. 14, the ACTR bus stop currently located in front of the former Coles Flowers location at the end of the street closest to the Cross Street Bridge will be temporarily moved to the north end of the street. Starting today it will be adjacent to the Soldiers Monument and Town Hall Theater near the town green.
Based on the sidewalk construction project schedule, it is anticipated that the ACTR bus stop will be restored to its current location at the south end of South Pleasant Street on or about Aug. 24.
This is a temporary move necessitated by some sidewalk work.
