You can find today's issue of the Addison County Independent online, at a newsstand near you, or by print or online subscription. Be sure to pick up today's paper for coverage of:
- A gallery of decorated t-shirts created for the "Clothesline Project," a nationwide project sponsored locally by the Counseling Service of Addison County and several other organizations. The project is part of the national Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and the t-shirts are on display at CSAC offices in Catamount Park.
- An upcoming talk by screenwriter Antonio Macia and the screening of his critically acclaimed film, "Holy Rollers." The Middlebury College alumnus told the Addison Independent last week that the film's main character was informed by Macia's experiences in Vermont.
- The Addison Northwest Supervisory Union school board's ratification last week of a new, two-year teacher contract. The agreement keeps baseline teacher salaries level, bringing an end to a nine-month negotiation process.
