BAREFOOT BAY, Fla. — John Louis Quesnel, 92, of Barefoot Bay, Fla., died Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2010, at Sebastian River Medical Center in Sebastian, Fla., after a courageous battle with emphysema.

There will be no calling hours and the service will be private.

He was born on Feb. 14, 1917, in Moose Creek, Ontario, Canada, to Blanche and Eli Quesnel. Shortly after his birth, the Quesnel family moved to Leicester, Vt.
